Who can join the Switch Together Colorado Program?

In order to qualify to register for the Switch Together Colorado group-buying program, you must own a home in the following municipalities: Denver, Broomfield — or the following counties: Adams, Arapahoe, Douglas, Jefferson, Boulder, and Estes Park.

What is Switch Together Colorado?

Switch Together Colorado removes the complexity and uncertainty of shopping for solar panels yourself. It is organized by Solar United Neighbors and iChoosr in partnership with local governments.

iChoosr is an international expert in group buying, and Solar United Neighbors is a national 501(c)3 nonprofit that represents the needs and interests of solar owners and supporters across the country.

About the Group-Buying Program

Switch Together Colorado is a group-buying program for home solar and battery installations that uses the collective bargaining power of residents to negotiate lower rates from qualified solar installers through a bidding process. The installer who bids the best price then offers that price to the homeowners who register for the program.

Sandbox+ is proud to be one of the winning installers for a program that removes the complexity and uncertainty of shopping for solar panels yourself. Solar power gives you the chance to save on energy bills, increase the value of your home, and become more self-sufficient by producing your own renewable energy.

The installers, Tyler and Rowan, treated our home like it was their own. They were conscientious and professional and walked us through key decision points. We also needed significant electrical upgrades, and the electrical team, Wyatt and Alex, did an outstanding job working with the challenges of our older home. Wyatt let us know everything that was going to happen, and did the electric work on the ground. Tony and his team on the roof were fantastic. Sandbox did a detach and reset for us in Boulder when we had our roof replaced (our original solar installer was no longer in business), they did a great job. Really nice group of people, professional, courteous, left everything in good shape. Showed us some squirrel damage we weren’t aware of that had taken a few panels out of service, we added critter guard as a result so we are less likely to have the issue going forward.
